  • City worked us out at half time

This really doesn't bode well for the game at the Etihad.

We've been completely outplayed in the second half. Desperately poor.

They didn?t need to work us out really. They could see we weren?t going to score in a month of Sundays.
Without Eze or Odin we lost any creativity or though ball capability. Havertz is a luxury player who got closed down every time. Trossards just gone.
Maybe it was the bloody nose we needed ?

      Perhaps it'll be worth it.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

I don't think Mikel minds losing that one. It will be a totally different game at the Etihad

I don?t mind us losing (maybe a bit ) it?s way we just capitulated. That point in the second half where Arteta just stood there, while every Arsenal fan knew he had to change things. By the time he?d stopped playing pocket billiards inside his grey farahs, we were two down.

Yeah, that was frustrating. I dont mind losing but I do mind being totally outplayed.

I don't mind being totally outplayed so long as we win. Sadly we're too good for that nowadays so any team good enough to outplay us is also good enough to beat us

I mind. I'm seeing a really good side underperform week in, week out.

Whatever happens this season, this has to change.

My biggest concern is that I thought we looked utterly spent in that 2nd half. Every International needs to have a slight niggle this morning.

Except the best football we've played in the last three season was when we had a fully fit Kai playing as a 9. We've seen him do it with Odin, we saw a brief glimpse with Easy and we're yet to see what happens when he plays with both and one DM when we need a goal.
