  • An absolutely appalling performance, the worst I can recall

football's worst performing internet board reached new levels of incompetence last night.

Down for the entire game! Outrageous.

Peter's mates must have received about 1000 texts last night

    The spurs of message boards.

On a football note, Saka was bloody awful.

Terrible. Eze and Zubi bang average. Gabi, Rice and Gok aren't good enough to make up for two average performances and a terrible performance around them.

We need Ode back and for Arteta to make a big call, if he trots out the same 11 next week we'll be lucky to go through

The ref was appalling though. Should have been down to 10 after 5 minutes and then obviously he scores. Havertz got booked for standing up

He also handled the penalty situation badly, allowing their players to crowd round the penalty spot, distracting, delaying and everything else. He even called a couple of players over to talk to them. Does he really have no idea what the defending team are trying to do in that situation!?

If it was Arsenal doing that, we'd be accused of all the dark arts etc etc.

We're much better than that (and them!), of course. And Martinelli did hit the bar when he really should've scored.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

But that was our only attack of the entire match.

We got the best result in two Champions League nights of shame for the Premier League

I did think before the game that I'd take a draw away. It's the performance that concerned me.

The bookings of Zubimendi and Havertz were outrageous. Terrible referee.

We were ****, but a draw was fine. I'd rather we beat Everton.

                      I actually wasnt that fussed

Playing in other competitions is like a night off. I dont see us winning the champions league so I am seeing these games as a bit of fun.

We started ok and slowly got worse. That is pretty much how we play every week.

Don't worry, as soon as we return to action in the league I will be fuming again over every minute of play

The referee was unbelievably poor for this level. Zubi and Havertz should never have been booked which could cost them if we progress. But Saliba should have been booked for the blatant pull-back the ref blew up for and their goalscorer should have had a second yellow shortly after his first at the start of the game. Fortuitous penalty award too.

                          Word, P.

We'll agonise through the match at the weekend, no doubt.
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Soft as ****e. I'd be furious if we'd conceded that.

                            Fitted his pattern of reffing.

Four of our next five games in the league are at home. Win them, and get something at the Etihad, and we will be almost there.....

So obviously we will **** that up
