that CL SF, so we can't laugh.

But the goalie slipped twice and the defender once in 15 mins. That's not normal. Could the dastardly dagos have over-watered that end of the pitch or something?

Seems a bit dodge to me.

Do Sperz stick with Tudor, btw?

The fans want Harry Redknapp seemingly unaware that PL football has vastly changed in the decade since he retired. They really needed someone with recent PL experience.

In words of one syllable, why did they sack the guy who won them a European trophy? If Dick Emery had done that for us, getting us into the CL, he'd have kept his job. We'd have been over the moon.

Lets be honest, they should never have sacked Pochetinno. All unravelled from there. They only won the EL because there was no drop down of 3rd place CL sides.

I get that. The only team they played that I'd heard of was ManU so it was basically a glorified charity shield. Why did they think they could do better than someone who got them to a CL final? Had had them top of the table at times?

Pochetinno was at least five mistakes ago. They just keep on and on getting it wrong. It is beginning to look deliberate.

This latest appointment has taken their stupidity to a whole new level. I ca hardly believe they have done it...

Apparently Poch wanted to move the club forward; spend good money on good players, that sort of thing.

Naturally they decided he simply wouldn't do, not their sort at all.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

It was almost as though they thought, hang on we're getting quite good...this won't do at all!!

I thought that too, about the pitch-watering. But that's what the warm-up is for

It?s hilarious really. We?ll go out and by a Ferrari ( Stadium & Training facilities ) and let?s see if we can run it on diesel.
I actually think Levy?s mindset was that players would sacrifice all of the usual contract bargaining levers, to come and play in his wonderful stadium.
                He completely outjewed himself.

Big Ange was out of his depth. Sacking him was inevitable. They were ****ing awful last season.

In a way, Frank wasnt a bad appointment. Very big risk, but you can kind of see the thought process.

Emery would have been a good appointment for them. Fits the bill fairly well.

SAF set a very high bar for managers who've done well in Scotland. Can't think of any that have remotely done well since.

Not knowing of these things, do you both warm up at the same time with one half of the pitch each? You do, don't you, cos some **** moaned about Daveed hoofing the ball into their bit.

So, is it possible that Sperz warmed up on the dry bit and then defended the wet bit?

We used to only heat the home dressing room and 2-3 weeks ago, some non-league club here got a match postponed {they had multiple injuries} by watering it during a downpour.

I mean, one slip from nerves, ok. But 2 from 3 players in the same half, and all in the first 15 mins before it dries out?

I don't want to sound a conspiracy theorist, but even I can't believe Sperz would be that Sperzy.

Yes, Marve I think, just mentioned some ****housery whereby you over-water the end you expect to be attacking (or defending, I suppose) only for the opposition to foil your plans by winning the toss and making everyone change or somesuch.
