Good point. If we can beat Everton we have a month's break from that stress.

We have the LC final, of course, and it would be nice to see us play well in the CL. That benefit of playing the away leg first might come in handy. The opposition will want to attack us at their home ground and might give us space to play. {I wonder if that's why Gabby has so many goals in the CL - the space. Should suit Vik, too.} If we can get a lead in the away leg, like vs the Chavs in the LC SF, then they'd have to come out and attack us at home.

Glad the CL's started again. Just need to avoid losing to Mansfield, given the cup upsets this year.

Then there is the international break

This is one area where I would be very happy for us to absolutely take the piss. Withdraw everyone.....

Agreed. I don't normally like intl breaks but having a break from the stress could be very helpful. Withdraw everyone and go to Dubai. Oh, can't, warzone, oh well.

Tenerife. I know a decent Irish pub there where the lads can chill out for a bit

Do we want City to progress in the FA Cup and CL to prevent them getting extra rest days?
