Fair enough. The whole club is on a learning curve so there's bound to be changes as we fine-tune the operation.Originally posted by Peter View PostOh, of course. Wonderful creatures, women. But we must always have the ability to appoint the right man for the job, regardless of sex.
There must be a concern around how these changes might affect Arteta's position. A lot going on in the background."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

I keep telling you, H. Viktor has not got three legs. Otherwise he would still be playing Sunday League in Portugal.Originally posted by Herbert Augustus Chapman View Post. . . . . . . . ."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

Certainly the throw in coach. He's barely been worth the cheerful the banter, thus far.Originally posted by Peter View PostBut this looks significant. A reorganisation. A real reshuffle.
I think the set piece coach could be next.

It's slightly more complicated than that apparently. Is a throw in actually a set piece?Originally posted by Peter View PostCan a set piece coach not also do the throw ins? Bloody hell, how complicated is it?
Grab a towel and sling the ball in. Heads!
Were you aware that Chelsea Football Club currently employ three sporting directors, a technical director and two directors of football.
No wonder we never win anything

They will probably sell two of them at the end of the season to balance the books.Originally posted by redgunamo View PostIt's slightly more complicated than that apparently. Is a throw in actually a set piece?

They do own around 150 players so I guess that keeps them busy.

Whatever the reason (and it?s none of our business) it hardly screams ?victory through harmony?, does it?Originally posted by redgunamo View Post"Sacked with immediate effect" sounds like misconduct, inappropriate speech or behaviour, rather than performance.
Like "terminate with extreme prejudice".

The twitters are telling us this ex TD of ours did the academy review that ousted Per. I say ousted but the spin from our side has been that PM will join the Germany national team set-up. Haven't heard anything about that but he does pundit once in a while.
Perhaps Ellis' was privately a short-term appointment (six months is clearly ridiculous for the technical director of a long term project, even in the Premier League). Sounds like he was promoted to do the opposite of what a headhunter does; he being the Al Neri to Berta's Don Michael

Does that mean Berta has just received a Sicilian message?

That's probably for the best, as too much harmony and not enough victory is not good.Originally posted by Rich View PostWhatever the reason (and it?s none of our business) it hardly screams ?victory through harmony?, does it?
Just like in a marriage, as I'm sure I don't need to tell you; you have to have friction because it produces the sparks that make the magic happen."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
