is precisely the sort of game you could've easily ended up losing 1-nil, or even on penalties
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

In theory, but Wigan look pretty inept. They are far too slow to react to every movement.

I know what I said but we miss Willo when he doesn't play. I'm sure he touches the ball, makes more passes than anyone else.

I'm not a supporter of all the fanny-dancing at the back but facts is facts; we need him

That young chap of theirs up front can handle himself. I mean, he's ****, but I reckon he can do well in League 2.
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Sounds depressingly familiar.....maybe two years in Lisbon will sort him out

                I'm pessimistic for 2 reasons:

                1. Paddy Power paid out, and they did that to ManU one year we won.
                2. I thought Kai would be the "like a new signing" who'd push us over the line. He came back, looked like it, then got injured again, while City's real new signing is scoring and assisting.

                But come on.

                We're through in every cup.
We're still top of the table despite injuries and wobble.
Top of CL table with 100% record and one of the two seeded teams all the way to the final.

                Give it at rest.

If Odin can get back to form and Kai is only out for a month, we may have learned something today.

Namely that when chasing a winner, MA might stop just switching the front 4, but take off Zubi and go 4-1-2-3.

B looked good in the Odin role. Eze looked great in his CP role, and Kai looks tops there too.

Eze Noni B triangles could do anyone, especially with a firing Odin and when JT learns to play with them.

This season is all about just finding a way through injuries.

                Btw, I think our no.9s are still averaging over a goal a game between them this year. {Again, that is Ted Drake level. Who cares if they split the time and goals between 2 or 3?}

I was bored because the game was over after 30 minutes. It wasnt a criticism

It was also jsut the sort of game Eze needed

Two lovely balls for the first two goals. Confidence is important, regardless of who it comes against

It is. And we know he can play.

But he has committed two cardinal sins this season. Switching off and losing his man which cost us a goal, at Villa I think. And being lazy in the press at Brentford.

Thsse are Arteta's 'non negotiables'. This is why it took Martinelli a while to break into the side full time a few years back. Form comes and goes, but if you dont do your work, you dont play.

This is why he loves Odegaard. He always does his work, and he forces others to do theirs.
