We may be ****, nonetheless we can be eternally grateful they did not actually buy Spurs.
Again, fingers crossed, but the kind of guys who are smart enough to appoint the right people are going to be too smart to buy Spurs

I'm also glad they didn't buy us. Stan might sling in a few quid but he is still running a business rather than a charity.

The thing I find slightly bizarre is that they can boast the best stadium and training facilities in the league, arguably Europe, yet they can screw up, year after year in recruitment.

Well, they have the best facilities because they are the newest. And that is just spending money.

The rest is about making decisions. And they give those to the wrong people.

There is a massive problem there and has been for years. They can't get one basic thing right- their transfer and coaching strategies aren't aligned. So they buy young players of potential and give them to coaches like Mourinho and Conte who have made a career out of winning things with established players and leaving after three years.

        Idiotic. Basic.

United struggle with the same issues. They appointed a coach who plays a system they didn't want. Why??
