    I don't see what else we really could have done. Wasn't charged whilst with us and they had 3 years to do so. Another 2 charges now, whilst not with us.

    IF he's found not guilty that would have screwed 5 years of his career (and lets be honest the CPS don't have a great track record in this area).

    If he's found guilty then hope he gets what he deserves.

    That bloke is a muppet

    Should you be sacked if you are accused of a crime you haven't been charged with?

          As I said at the time, if the British Justice System was gonna decide that the public hate noncing so much that we'll ditch the presumption of innocence for that crime alone, then we should have got a group of 4-5 Awimbers, go to the bar where Haarland drinks and then all swear blind he nonced us all.

          One word against five.

          That's why it doesn't work like that.

          {obviously not belittling the genuine victims of rape, justifying the appalling conviction rates, saying these women are lying or calling Haarland a nonce. I'm calling him a ****.}

            Wooaaaahhhhh! Hang on a minute there.

            Which Haaland? The dad or the son?

            If both, can't we do the Delaps instead?

              Trouble is, this sort of case is exactly what celebrities are for. Everything people think they know about the law (its prejudices, its priorities, its practices) comes from television shows, dramas and celebrities. And the authorities love it because people actually pay attention for a change.
              "Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

              "But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
