You know as well as I do that football (and sport in general) is a game of momentum. City will have had a huge boost from the past two performances. I can genuinley see them winning their remaining fixtures.

So given that one of them is against us; means that we must do the same.

We should beat Brentford, back to 6 points. Saka, Trossard & Odegaard all back in the squad tonight, apparently. If we can get to the International break with at least a 6 point lead then we really should win it from there.

But that is exactly the point, isn't it? If you step back from the noise and look at things objectively, their momentum is identical to ours...

Worse, in fact, as they're running out of games.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

They're kicking at the right time.

Or they are running out of games.

They are keeping pace with us.

Or they failed to capitalise on our slip.

They've got us in their sights.

Or they are further away than at any point in the season.

You can put it however you want. Fact is, we have been here before and we blew it. Doesn't mean we will this time. But it does mean people will go on and on about it until we actually win the league.

People might go on and on about it but we should not. We are hardly neutrals, after all

Quite. The lads simply need to turn up twice a week and put in a performance.

All we need to do is sit here drinking and complaining. Some of us are pretty good at that...
