Ridiculous. We've completely bottled it.

Perhaps but that pass was farking stupidity beyond belief. Oh I know, I?ll ping it back into an area where two black shirts are bearing down on my keeper.Originally posted by Peter View PostIt was the whole side. We gifted Fernandes two chances before that. We just stopped playing completely.
Unbelievable.
Farkin moron.

He just mi**** it. The standing there like statues before it happened is the real problem.Originally posted by 7sisters View PostPerhaps but that pass was farking stupidity beyond belief. Oh I know, I?ll ping it back into an area where two black shirts are bearing down on my keeper.

Moments before Saliba completely switched off and left Fernandes through on goal. Mbuemo moments before that.
We were in complete control of the game. We scored, and totally fell to pieces.
If we are bottling it with 16 games to go then what on earth is going to happen when we get to the run in?

There are those of us who have pointed out that for a wonderful player, Zubi makes way too many basic errorsOriginally posted by Peter View PostHe just mi**** it. The standing there like statues before it happened is the real problem.

Not the first time he has cost us this season
Not that that excuses the overall performance of course

Taking him off and forcing Rice to play deeper was a real dog**** decision.Originally posted by WES View PostThere are those of us who have pointed out that for a wonderful player, Zubi makes way too many basic errors

Maybe. But if I was Arteta I?d have been absolutely fuming with him. In complete control, go up 1-0 and then he does that? THAT! THEN!Originally posted by Peter View PostTaking him off and forcing Rice to play deeper was a real dog**** decision.
We hear about being held accountable. At some point Arteta needs to enforce. Maybe that was the time

You have to look at 8 or 9 minute period between the first and second goal. Yes, Zubimendi made the mistake that led to the goal but we shipped two great chances before that. We just fell to pieces for no reason other than that we had just taken the lead.Originally posted by WES View PostMaybe. But if I was Arteta I?d have been absolutely fuming with him. You can point to individual errors but there are hundreds of them. The point is that by the time Zubimendi made that mistake we were NOTin control.

Is it the time to point out that he bottled out during that goal in the Inter game ?Originally posted by WES View PostMaybe. But if I was Arteta I?d have been absolutely fuming with him. In complete control, go up 1-0 and then he does that? THAT! THEN!

We all saw it, he hesitated from a 50-50 and pulled up, preferring to make himself big as the Inter lad blasted it home.
He could have made that challenge and probably blocked the effort.
There?s been a few ?f?ck me? moments recently with Zoobs but I guess he?s still adjusting.
I still expected more from one of Spains finest, mind.

It's a fair point re Inter. I guess he didn't want to charge at the ball and get beaten. But he can get much closer than he did.Originally posted by 7sisters View PostIs it the time to point out that he bottled out during that goal in the Inter game ?

But you cant blame this on individuals. It's a collective failure.

Yes, it has to be if you ship three at home.Originally posted by Peter View PostIt's a fair point re Inter. I guess he didn't want to charge at the ball and get beaten. But he can get much closer than he did.

Their midget centre back could've seen a red, I thought."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

I surely saw him clout Jesus round the head as they chased a ball out of play.Originally posted by Peter View PostWhat for? Don't get me wrong, I'd send him off just for his face."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
