I'm starting to resent Gyokeres. He really does not belong in the top flight.

I can categorically say that he?s the worst footballer I?ve personally seen play for us. And it?s even worse when you see him live. No wonder his team mates don?t want to put the ball in for him.Originally posted by Herbert Augustus Chapman View PostHe ought to have the decency to recuse himslef from the team.
He will definitely be sold in the summer. Presumably Saudi will have some takers - though we will take a hit on our initial outlay.

A little more than that. And I?m deadly serious. The mantle was previously held by Chamakh but he, for all his flaws (and there were a great many); could control a football.Originally posted by Sir C View PostHe?s the worst you?ve ever seen play for us? Are you 12 years old?
I am absolutely longing for Eddie Nketiah.

And he is nowhere near as bad as you seem to think. We've had plenty of far worse players.

No Rich, he is bad but nothing like the worst. Never forget how
exceptionally rank Gervinho was. I remember with alarming clarity a time he'd performed abysmally and you stated that you could not bear to look at him as even his hair disgusted you.Originally posted by Rich View PostA little more than that. He was alright but his sort simply went out of style. Everybody decided they wanted their wingers to score twenty goals a season, especially clubs that had become addicted to Champions League money.Originally posted by Herbert Augustus Chapman View Postexceptionally rank Gervinho was. **** hair though, it's true."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
