Firstly, we need him. JT can play CH like he does for NL. I still think BW's a better crosser of the ball - look at that goal he made recently after Noni's sexy drag back and back heel.

But there is no way he should go for that amount. I wouldn't want to sell him for 50 mil.

When him, B and Odin play together at their best, they're unstoppable. When we've got the 8 defenders we have, why on earth would we want to change it. There's no way we'd be able to buy a player of BW's quality for anything less than 50m. We paid about 45m for Hinchappy {or will do} and he wasn't PL proven like BW.

I get he might want to be playing every week - like Yakob who said that with Gabby ahead of him, he'd never be a starter - but I don't want us to sell him cheap.

An English, PL and CL proven ball-playing CH, attacking RB and he was fine when he inverted into MF when Yakob was on the left and he still managed to get forward overlap.

At the risk of getting Peter started early, aren't we short of defenders AGAIN!

Calafiori, Mosquera confirmed out, Hchappie and Saliba face tests? So Timber, White, Gabriel and MLS with only the young fishy chap as depth on the bench?

Hincapie hadn?t had an injury since 22-23 season. Then he came to the Arsenal

Right. Even Livramento is out for months again now and we haven't even signed him yet
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

          He's not going anywhere, G. Haven't you heard; we've just signed a throw-in coach.

Certainly wouldn't flog him for half what we paid, he's a much better player now.

He's also 30 next year. Realistically he's never going to be a starter here and if he as aspirations to be one; we should let him go.

We are going to have to get better at selling two or three first team squad members every year (and replacing them of course) - it's what the big clubs do.

Really, I thought he was mid 20's

Well he's 29 this October. So 30 next year. Think he was about 23 when we signed him.

He's 28 and a bit so has a good four or more years at his peak. Timber is world class but BW isn't that much worse, so as cover or for when we're forced to play JT at CH, we won't find a better alternative and certainly not for 25 mil.

One of my fave players. Out of the signings we made that summer, Rambo left, Tomi was crocked, Sambi and Nuno didn't work out and we'd already had Odin for half a season. {I can't believe I thought we should keep ESR and spend the Odin money elsewhere.} But the one new signing that summer that worked was BW.

That got us to 5th, and next season with him and RB and Big Willy, we were 2nd.

                      Bargain for 50 mil.

I know. Great news. Our set piece coach has been one of our best signings, so hopefully the throw in coach will be just as good, or even better if such a thing is possible.

Gg is right on both counts. Why would we sell such a good player? And why on earth would we sell him for much less than he is worth?

Answer- the rumours are bull****. Ignore.

Tonight may be the end of the road for MLS. He's now dropped to fourth choice at left back. I'd say he is done with us... we should sell him before we tank his value to nothing.

Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Need to get used to selling a good player or two or we'll never win the Net Spend Cup
