Can?t help noticing the blue clowns have given their new man

In fairness to Roman, Chelsea have always been like that with managers. When I was a nipper, they had Dave Sexton for a decent time but after him they seemed to have a new one every season. Anyway, they've had way more than we have.

So they want a "coach" who is young and inexperienced, malleable and flexible, no firm opinions and definitely no bright ideas. Someone who is not intellectually or footballistically committed. Somebody who will do as he is told by the worthies upstairs and be grateful.
