    We can't win EVERY game.

But I do agree that we have to. Apart from tonight.

lol. Right. At least we must LOOK as though we must win every game.

      And there's the rub

Or look as though we are trying to make it look as though we must win every game....

Yes, because people are worried that it doesn't look as though we're trying to look as though we're trying to win every game.

          Fabulous writing.

Too many crosses, I reckon. Jesus never liked them.

I do wish people would stop saying that. I'm no Abrahamic but the whole point of their faith is He got nailed up for our sins. It's why they all wear a crucifix.

Just like no.13 being unlucky. By their logic, it doesn't compute. Without 13 at the last supper, then no betrayal, no crucifixion and no dying {and being reborn} to save humanity.

I know this forum isn't really the place for theology but if we can't do it just before Christmas than when can we?

Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.

Merry Xmas, Merry 23rd and belated happy solstice btw.

Knowing his injury record, it will probably be Easter before we see him again.....

I'm not that thick, Reds. I just though Christmas might be the time to point out the logical fallacy at it's floor.

And anyway, wouldn't we much prefer a Jesus who did love crosses and saw them as a way to prove his Divinity?

I wonder if that Wolveser CH who scored the OG we initially thought had been scored by Jesus has a similar name to the two lads that were nailed up beside Him. {Jesus, the original one, not the Brummie defender.} What was his name? And what were the two nailed up either side of Jeez called again?

As I said, this is the time to discuss this stuff. Real meaning of Xmas and all that.

All religion is *******s, G, you know that.

If I want to believe 2,000 year old folklore, I'd better take some psychedelics first
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

I have done, which is why I do. I can see the truth at the origins before it got corrupted by power-seeking human ****wits and distorted over the centuries.

Hindus probably originally worshipped cows cos they gave them milk, beef and leather. I could go on.....
