    Or are we skint again
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

The medical bills must be really mounting up now. And we're running out of hospital beds.

100 injuries in 2025, apparently. That's just ridicules.

My recollection is that two years ago we had very few injuries, Saliba went down at a crucial time and this cost us the league, I think.

But other than that we had very few is my recollection. So this might be nothing more than a bad run

I think history has taught us that the run you are referring to is the freak run and this is all back to normal service now. Although, apart from Gabriel, do we actually have anyone from the starting 11 out now?

I hear spurs are going to sell Johnson. I've always thought he's probably their best player, certainly looks a threat and scores. Odd club

Havertz. But it isnt just about the starting 11. Injuries outside the 11 are part of what overloads your starting 11 and hits their fitness and form- causing more injuries.

We lost Saliba for the last third of the season in the year where we were top all season and crumbled.

Again, all Arteta's fault. He decided to field him and Tomiyasu in a europa league game because he didn't trust Holding. Both Saliba and Tomiyasu were injured in the game and not seen again, leaving us with Rob Holding for the run in. And we lost the Europa league game....

Lack of trust, refusal to rotate. Again....

A left winger to compete with Trossard (who is superb at the moment, I must say). Jesus being back means we can leave the striker issue until summer.

Also my worry is that Zubimendi plays too many minutes. Not sure if we can get some cover there.

We have cover for Zubimendi but Arteta doesn't use him.

Very odd. I shall wait for the video in which he claims to have been thrown under the proverbial bus

Quite. Without examining the details, the simple fact is that our squad depth is so good that there is no excuse for anyone to ever get injured from being played too much.

Impact injuries will happen, but if we lose someone who has been overplayed it is on Arteta

Mind you, Gabriel and Havertz are not in that category.

What is this "starting 11" of which you speak.

Injuries is proving to be our most important asset; a sort of AI assistant manager in charge of team selection
