    Just watched MotD.

That's worth fighting for. Probably why they brought it in so the top teams don't play weakened teams for the final couple of games which can give an advantage to the mid-table teams you'd be playing in those fixtures.

If we'd had PSG at home for the 2nd leg, we'd have had a much better chance of overturning a deficit.

Also better for the fans, knowing you're through after the 2nd leg. In 2006, the 0-0 at home to RM was great cos we were through. The 1-0 SF against Villareal when we had 2 perfectly good goals disallowed from memory wasn't.

So we've got to try to win those games. If we can beat Inter, then we'd only need a point in the final game.

Correction. We've got to win the last game. That guarantees us top two.

    P.S. I didn't know that

That makes sense. We're on 18 pts, so one win makes us 21. 3rd place is 13 pts, so 2 wins is 19. That's good to know, but would still like a 100% record, and no more goals conceded. That top drawer BM goal is the only one we've conceded.

Didn't Liverpool smash the league stage last year and then go out in the first knockout round though? I'd rather we bumble along under the radar and peak at the right time.

It's a new thing this year that you get all your 2nd leg ties at home if you come in the top 2. That's what we want.
