Eze fell asleep at the back post

All stemmed from Merino not holding on to a ball. Get Gyokeres on in the 2nd half if we're going to lob long balls up font.
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

I think Merino is there to help with set pieces.

We are doing ok, but they are quick and strong. We are letting them run at the back four too often.

      Need more control over midfield.

Midfield looks weak with MO in there.

Would be tempted to take him off and put Norgaard on

This is the sort of game where, for years now, we'd say "the Arsenal just need a striker"
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

I think the problem is at the other end today.

I would be surprised if we get anything from this game now. Won't be the end of the world but we are getting to the stage where we just cannot cope with the constant injuries. It is going to kill us if it keeps happening.

Actually, I think Eze has been the weak link. Odegaard has done quite well. I'd look at Martinelli at some point.

The full backs push so high and leave Zubimendi to drop into the defence. When Rice gets sucksd into the press, there is a huge hole in front of the defence. Villa are creating it and using it well.

They're a really tough side at the moment.

                MotM MO.

Eze was a spectator on the left and for their first goal. Probably better that he rotates with MO rather than playing together.
