The Chelsea you fear are losing 3-1. Dies that help?

To a tiny extent, P. But Declan must be fit for Villa. We have a quite appalling record against them and so desperately need him.

We have some easy games after that so probably worth risking him even if it means he?s out for a couple of weeks after Villa.

I think Saliba is more important right now.

Honestly, I would like to think Rice is ok. He didn't look too bad.

Well Timber or White can fill in at CB. Bigger issue is that it then makes as thin at right back.

Norgaard has previously been deployed as an emergency CB.

It's about stability. We cant keep having a different centre back partnership every week. Just getting Saliba back will make a huge difference.

                    He's fine.

                    Source: Declan Rice

He sat on the bench when he came off, with a bit of ice. That is probably a good sign.

Wonder if the medical team are of the same opinion. After Villa we have Bruges and then Wolves at home. So he can sit on the bench for both of those.

I'm probably guilty of amateur psychology but the sight of Saliba smiling and joking in the stands gives me hope.

If he's still genuinely injured I want to see pain on his face

I think he's playing Sat. BTW why the f*ck is this a 12:30pm kickoff with us having played Wed night?

                            Same for Villa though

I like the fact that they were sat together, with Gabriel to his left. Never out of position

Based on what Arteta said there is clearly hope he will play. Losing Mosquera means we may have to consider risking him.
