I read a piece when we signed him saying how raw Madueke is and comparing him to Leroy Sane. Sane himself has credited Mikel Arteta for the work that he did with him at City to turn him into the player he is.
My money is that Arteta would like to re-create that with Noni. Whether he can or not remains to be seen but at 60mill if it goes wrong we can recoup at least half of that (more I would hope). If it goes well then it's a huge upside.
He's still young - two more seasons and see where he is. But output this season for both Arsenal and England has been strong enough.
