I hope (and expect) that Arteta has learned a few things from this season. We have a great chance of being champions next year.
Quite right. And astonishingly optimistic for you, Peter

One of the reasons I have hope again is that Arteta has shown the ability to change, that he learns from the past. This was very much not the case with our French manager not so long ago where we seemed to fail for the same reasons, season after season after season.

If he learns, and we have a good transfer window, there is no one in the PL capable of playing at the same level as us, we just need to be more consistent, mostly going forward.

We need to stop dropping points to mid table sides beginning with a "B"

A United supporting friend of mine said two years ago 'we'd have been in the title race if we hadn't spent half the season drawing with ****s'.

We've had the same problem this season. Not killing games off, and going into management mode. We need to stop being scared of teams and start killing them off.

My biggest concern is Edu's replacement. His relationship with Arteta, and the shared understanding of transfer strategy, is going to be crucial to where we go from here. Will be a very interesting summer.

Spurs winning the Europa sets the stage for more Spurs mockery next season.

    1) they have to keep Big Ange now and he really has no clue how to compete in the Premier League.

    2) They might squeeze into the knockout round in the CL because there's a fair number of poor sides from smaller leagues in there and they might get a favorable pool. I would say, however, that the smart money would be on a disaster.

    3) this gives Spurs a chance to make a splash in the transfer market, but can Ange alter his tactics to play to the strengths of the new signings? Definitely not. He'll be throwing the new boys under the bus by November.

Rest easy, the schadenfreude will be just as frequent next season as last.

I'll have you know he sacrificed the premier league in January to go 'all in' on the Europa League

    Like ****ing **** he did

4 points isn't close - we needed City to lose two more games. It was never going to happen.
