If it comes good for him, it'll come really good. He's scored great distance shots for us and England this season, and he can hit a corner pretty much like B and Dec. He can skin players. In short he has the ingredients.
He's not young, or raw. He's 24. He's played 200 senior games. Yet after 40 games for us he still has to be shown who his man is when we drop to low block.

Walcott had the x factor. He could finish, he had amazing balance. He also had the same problem as Madueke- as good as his touch was, it wasnt good enough to cope with his speed.

An x factor is not enough. And there is literally nothing that he does that is unmatched in our squad apart from the frequency with which he runs the ball straight out of play.

But, as I say. I really, really want to be wrong.
