Arteta's biggest achievement is to give us hope again. We came within a few points of the league last year against a financially doped team managed by arguably the best manager in the world over the past 10 years. Being in with a shout right up to the last game was something we had not epxerienced in many years. I, for one, loved it.

Equally, the knockout stages of the CL, especially the Madrid hammering, were wonderful, even if we came up just short.

The idea that you would reduce the performance of a manager down to nothing more than just winning a trophy is something that a hopeless club like Spurs would do.

We're the Arsenal. Our sights are set much higher.
