4 games ago, the Scousers had it sown up, were clearly gonna be Invincibles and we were scrapping for any form of European football.Originally posted by 7sisters View PostIt?s getting a bit weird when punters and bookies are already saying it?s ours to lose and we?re not even in November .

Almost like "let's all wait 'till Easter like we used to" doesn't get as many clicks as all this hyperbolic twaddle.

I prefer the lads with the dancing feet and a bit of pace. Wrighty would have scored a hat full in this set up.

Fortuantely Havertz is back soon and so young Victor (well he's not young - in footballing terms) will be sitting on the bench.

Could t score in a brothel, as the saying goes. He?ll get a few but he?s looking every inch a Championship striker from what I?ve seen so far. His best quality is his physicality. Other than that.. meh..Originally posted by Herbert Augustus Chapman View Post- he is slow to turn, slow to get a shot away, slow to get running, slow to get up to full pelt and then when he's at full pelt .. he's too fakkin slow!! There ain't a full back in the Prem worthy of the job description who couldn't murder him in a 100m sprint.

Other than the headed goal in preseason, I can think of one other cross he's had put in to head (yes he missed, but that's not the point).Originally posted by Rich View PostHmmm. Well he is a poor header of the ball so you can't put ariel crosses in for him. And when they pull balls across the box for him his balance seems all over the place and he takes too long to correct it - thus failing to get a clean shot away.
The closest player I can think of to wear an Arsenal shirt is Chamakh.Last edited by PSRB; 10-27-2025, 01:25 PM.

Saka needs to work on that. he's a little selfish.

I think he's occupying space that might be more profitably occupied by a decent strikerOriginally posted by Rich View PostYes I think so too. And I also think Gyokeres probably does occupy defenders a bit. Not exactly what you want from your striker but it's something I guess.

However I am not worried. with every team deciding to use the 'low block' * Current buzzword. he's always going to be limited.
if anyone decides to open up against hopefully they will be met with a resposne like we had against Atleti.
we also have a back 4 of centre backs which is working perfectly. they all love it.
