this does not look good, maybe the 4-0 has gone to our head.

When Zubi can?t pass to someone in a red shirt we really do have a problem

Zubi had two or three poor passes first half, which is unusual for him.

But the volley - Easy does it.

Are you at home, WES? Is it Canal+ who still have the rights. Much prefer French commentary to English. Their commentators sound like a cross between Camus, Voltaire and a sexually aroused Brigitte Bardot. We have Gary Neville.

Yeah Canal+ GG, sadly my French has improved enough only so that I get about 50% of what they?re saying

I remember when I first tried to read match reports in L'Equippe in the '90s and '00s. Thought I spoke decent French, but realised it was only for my scene. They have football expressions that left me baffled. I just had to read it and hope it came by osmosis, cos if I tried to concentrate word by word my whole understanding broke down.

Winger was ailer, I think, but the rest, not a clue. They didn't say sabote-le jusqu'au gros mec, for example. Or le grand demi-centre a saut? comme un saumon. It was all gobbledegook.

Anyway, 3 points, clean sheet, 1-0 to the Arsenal from a set piece scored by an Arsenal fan we signed from the Eagles. No wonder GG {him, not me} was in the crowd.
