This is the kind of rank dishonesty you are dealing with. It is perfectly obvious to anyone with eyes that there is clear contact with the knee, and that it happens before contact with the ball.
I could live with an argument that it isnt a penalty. But contorting the facts like this shows that the entire thing is a waste of time. Referees are quite simply incompetent and dishonest. They make it up as they go along.
