I have no need for a hairdresser, W.Originally posted by WES View PostLoathe as I am to ever side with Bunnell, surely the answer to I?s question depends on the size of the engine and number of cylinders?
Quick google says this model can be 3litre V6
How butch is your hairdresser, I?
Those days are, sadly, long behind me.
3-litre v6 and yet the Z4 performs no better than my Golf.Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

A great car basically a sports car disguised as a hatchback so saying it performs no better is a bit misleading. My Z4 M40i absolutely has it beat in a straight line 0-100mph very comfortably. Wouldn't fancy it's chances on a twisty road tho against AWD.
You also are driving a Golf. To anyone who isn't knowledgeable about cars, a Golf R will look the same as a 1.4 entry level Golf... And that's a car for old ladies... That's just a fact mate and I really really do love a Golf R but that's the reason I've never considered one it just doesn't look cool.

A very practical car for motorway driving and shopping. That sort of thing.
The Golf drives like a dream. Even in snow. Whereas most BMWs would break down in tears at the thought of rain...
A couple of wolves in sheep clothing there and fun to drive.
Both for ?60k less than my mate paid for his M5...Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

I'd take a Octavia VRS in a heart beat. Especially the newer models in the lime green. That is a sexy car.Originally posted by IUFG View PostAlso got an Octavia vRS. At 300bhp.

Not sure about it being 300bhp tho pretty surely they clock in about 250. Is yours chipped?
Also think that BMW breaking down easily thing is a myth.

Remapped to the Golf GTI Clubsport settings. Possibly right on the limit of power for a fwd car. Maybe a little too far.Originally posted by John Bunnell View PostI'd take a Octavia VRS in a heart beat. Especially the newer models in the lime green. That is a sexy car.

The same engine and gearbox as the Golf R, of course.
The lime green is a great colour. As is the orange one. Mine is neither of those.
BMW - not breaking down, as such, well they do. But more the thought of anything other than a dry surface makes them wet their pants.Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Of course, the DSG gearboxes.
One had a mechatronic failure and the other a gearbox control unit failure. Apart from that. Spot on.
They are fun. 6 points, so far

Last sound system in one of our vehicles that didn't just come as standard was 3 x 18" 600w bass scoops, and two 500w monitors each with a 15" bass driver and 1.25" compression horns with a passive crossover in each monitor box. Ran them with a 3kw bass amp and a 1kw amp for the monitors out of an active x-over so the monitors were just doing the mids and tops. Sounded lush.Originally posted by John Bunnell View PostTalkSport sounds brilliant on mute.
I listen to Techno.
Admittedly, compared to yours, we had to park our E-reg Ford Cargo truck, unload it all, set it up, plug it into the genny and then find a mate to DJ/Liveset it, but it sounded ****ing lush.
