Software update

We'll be upgrading our forum software over the next few days. As part of this update we will need to prune threads over 12 months old.

Downtime will be kept to a minimum during the upgrade and your usernames and passwords will still work when we are back up and running.

    One of those wonderful old BBC dramas; about

    a homeless kid who turned out to be a chess prodigy. He won a prestigious competition at the club where they would let him doss, but they refused to give him the trophy, instead tried to fob him off with a bit of money or something like that.

    Anyone know it, I can't find it.
    "Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

    "But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
