Superb for 30 odd minutes and should have been 4 up (maybe 3 without the Raya save) and then just got progressively worse.

Thought we were going to snatch a draw from the jaws of victory. Thank you, Odegaard & Saka.

I would also say that Gyokeres is getting better with every game.

I watched only parts of the 2nd half. Some of our passing through midfield was sublime and a joy to watch. We also looked less than comfortable at the back and they had several good chances to equalise.

Now that we have started to take more risks, push more people forward and play less defensively oriented players i.e. Eze, I can just hear the moaning coming that we lack the defensive nous required to win the league.

I'm not really a fan of stats but apparently our XG was 2.75-0.5

Now yeah, it's not ideal for Leo et al to miss loads of sitters, but the point is they even things out. There are games when we score from out only 3 shots on target with an XG of 1.2

We'd have taken that XG at the start, wouldn't we? And who knows, if they equalised, it may have pushed us to score a second earlier. Through on all the numbers tens and B.

That's what Herb said earlier, can't have everyone happy, that's not the Arsenal way.

Fun fact, of MA's CL home group games he's won 8 out of 8 without conceding a goal.

But let's find a stick to beat him with. "We won 2-0 despite missing loads of chances but, you know, we didn't score those chances we missed and they might have scored the couple of chances they had so it's as bad as a defeat."

Trossard had one of those games, by that I mean, one of those games where I think we should have sold him.

As I say, they even out over the season. Scored his one chance vs Bilbao and Port Vale. Yes, he could/should have had a hat-trick, but we won. Let him save the 100% conversion ratio for games when we need it more.
