I know we all want him to be more attacking but we know he has GG {him, not me} tendencies. So I just wonder if he is gonna play MnM with a Zub'n'Dec double pivot, could MnM do it?
We know he can win duels and play box-to-box etc. But I watched the highlights of our game at Real earlier and had forgotten how good his assist for B's goal was.
He never thought he could play as a CF but once he tried to learn, he had a pretty respectable scoring record, and look what he's doing for Spain now. He does play nice passes on the edge of the box. He's a very good footballer, we've seen that when he's had the chance. He's in his prime and happy to learn. But given we now know he can score, and we also know he can assist, could this actually work?
I'd love him to score and/or make one tomorrow. Like when he played up top, he just needs to learn a new role. And if you look at that hattrick for Spain that had goals he'd have never scored before he started playing up front.
