    Terrific. Another #14 that couldn't head the ball. Good portent for the new chap.
    "Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

    "But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

      It's really spooky you posting that yesterday. I watched the clip while the glw was out. When she got back, she said she'd had a phone call from an old, Sperz-supporting mate of ours - Chris - we hadn't spoken to in a few years. {He's in Cambodia , apparently.}

      I didn't remember the game when I clicked play {I think cos I read it as 3-1 to us.}

      But when I got to the end, I remember watching it with the glw and Chris on a dodgy stream in our flat in Brockley.

      I remember him being gutted that we turned it around at the last. And when we looked on SIMB a little later there was a post {with myriad replies} saying "If we all chipped in we could get that coont [Titi] offed, you know."

      Anyway, well spooky that the glw comes back saying she's spoken to Chris while I was watching a game that only at the end did I remember watching it with him and the glw.

      Red is right about #14 and headers being a good omen. Send us another cosmic sign, oh master.
