Well I am still in the same position as I was.

is it normal for recruiting to take so long now?

another opportunity has come on the scene. I won't know what to do at this point.

It's taking longer than an Arsenal transfer saga.

Patience is a virtue and all that. I?m sure employers are revising recruitment budgets with this lot in charge. Always best to get poached at your age, Fash

Maybe you should get an agent, Fash. He'll take 10% of your wages but might get you a nice signing on fee.

I thought some speciailist recruiters that were recommended to me would help with that

ARE you signing for the Arsenal?
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Not sure what your career is or if you're looking for a total change of direction but what I've found works for me when I want to get a new job is instead of going on job boards or through recruiters I research who the main competitors and other players in the industry I am in and find who would be responsible for recruiting someone in my field and I email them directly. You can usually suss out their direct email by using neverbounce or rocket reach.

Last two jobs I have got are through this method, and I've been picked up and offer made within a couple of weeks of me looking.
