The fecker's really going for it, sprouting new cucumbers everywhere, grown out over the vegetable patch and is trying to annex the whole garden like some leguminous Hitler.

Anyone else ever dealt with these?

I'd quite like to get a planter and do various herbs but all seems a bit like hard work.

Alright, mate? The glw got a vegetable patch when built when before we just had some herbs. {Not the Awimb ones, green things for cooking with.} The flavour of them all are lush - strawbs, tomatoes, spring onions etc - but the cucumber's gone mental and is trying to take over.

It's well worth it for the herbs. One pot of thyme from the supermarket and we had a free unlimited supply for a few years. Really got into cooking with it. Ditto parsley. And they really don't take any work. Dig hole, plant, water occasionally if it hasn't rained.
