For those who think it's easier to annoy you than to Google 'Is the arsenal in for morgan rogers?' themselves.

Is there some concrete rumours out there? Don't object to the signing but does feel like it might mean the departure of Odegaard (I don't think Arteta is bringing him in to play on the left).Originally posted by PSRB View Postapparently. In English, Chief, being "in for" a player doesn't mean he's "on his way."Originally posted by Chief Arrowhead View Post
In this Parisian heat, I'm "in for" 4 dozen oysters and an ice cold bottle of Veuve Cliq. Doesn't mean I'll find somewhere that both has it and will sell it at a price I'm prepared to pay.
Bet you have loads of cheap oysters over your gaff, don't you?

You know far more about these things than I, Rich. But surely LW has to be the number one priority. We saw flashes from Leo and Gabby did fine in the CL, but Noni on the right was more consistent than either of those two.Originally posted by Rich View Post

Odin had times when he wasn't injured when he looked like the old Odin, peak Cesc. We won the league playing Easy there and Kai was out all season and he can play as a ten.
We need a LW.
Unless the plan is to wait until next year. I'm so glad we have a squad of team players, not egos. But RM have 2 LW egos who'd be great for us. If they weren't both overpaid egos.
Like the idea of Max and Monga in a few years time.

I tought I was going to get some praise from my smart-alecky response for using the singular IS The Arsenal versus ARE The Arsenal. Or, to fully americaniz(s)e it "Are Arsenal..." without using THE!! I regret the rather non-friendly response but I couldn't help myself. It's been years since I used the old lmgtfy.com. Felt like I was back in the aughts!Originally posted by Ganpati's Goonerz--AFC's Aboriginal Fertility Cult View Post

Unfotunately, GG, I am landlocked here in St. Louis so a cheap oyster is suspect in my book, gotta be flown in. I do know of what I consider the best raw bar in the whole US of A, however. It is in an out of the way place called Indian Pass, by Apalachicola, Florida. I'll link to it. Oysters are no more than an hour from being pulled at the oyster farm. Your Apalachicola oyster is the most flavorful in my book.
Enjoy the freshest oysters, shrimp, and crab legs in a casual, friendly setting at Indian Pass Raw Bar. Visit us for authentic Florida seafood!
Any oysters your way, GG?

I'm in Margate and Whitstable, 30 mins up the coast/Thames is one of the UK's oyster centres. They have an Oyster festival there.Originally posted by Chief Arrowhead View Post

My old man worked in the City running some US property investment trust. Meant he spent a month in the states each year, plus occasional day trips on Concorde.
When I was about 12, he came back with this tee-shirt saying CJ's eat oysters love longer. Was my fave tee-shirt for about the next 5 years cos he'd got me adult size.
