According to reports from Austria, Manninger?s car was in a collision with a train on a level crossing on the Salzburg local railway in Nussdorf am Haunsberg on Thursday morning.Originally posted by Ganpati's Goonerz--AFC's Aboriginal Fertility Cult View PostDidn't know this bit:
Manninger was named Premier League player of the month for March 1998.
Player of the month at the business end of a double winning season. Poor chap.

There really has to be a way of stopping these accidents happening. Close the gates for longer and have some sort of camera system so that if the central computer or train driver knows there's a vehicle there when the gates are down, there's still more than enough distance for an emergency stop.Originally posted by pjlincs View PostAccording to reports from Austria, Manninger?s car was in a collision with a train on a level crossing on the Salzburg local railway in Nussdorf am Haunsberg on Thursday morning.
And if it's because there weren't any gates, make gates mandatory.
In Kerala once staying at a mates near a local station, there was a set of gates on the level crossing and they went down about 5-10 mins before the train arrived. So loads of natives obviously just climbed over the gates and walked across.

Decent keeper for us.
Although I remember going to Anfield near Christmas, I had a massive hangover from the do the night before, and he was in goal. He was absolutely **** and we got done 4-0.
Still, he had a Premier League winners medal even if he didn't earn it. Which more than can be said for the current lot.
RIP AlexOther clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.
