Comparing someone being forced to breath in smoke which is damaging to their health and then having to go home stinking of cigarette smoke, to being forced to listen to someone espouse a view you disagree with is disingenuous nonsense of the highest order. In my experience, the overwhelming majority of people, including smokers, now agree that pubs and restaurants are much more pleasant places. Banning smoking from pubs and restaurants was the right thing to do on every level, I'm afraid you lost this one Burney.
