take it into the garden, when it does a piss/****e outdoors give it a treat and lots of fuss.

they're quick learners.

in the meantime, lots of training pads down. it'll already have a favourite pissing/****ting place, no doubt.

Not too long. Just be sure to offer plenty of praise whenever they do their business in the correct place; two months old is a good age and it should get the message quickly.

What's the story here? What dog? WHY dog? Breed? Sex?
