If you do it and we lose, you can go back to believing that it's all stuff and nonsense.

But imagine if you don't do it and we lose? You'll spend the rest of your life wondering.

So instead imagine that being a rational man, if you tried something and it worked once, you try it again to increase the sample size to get a slightly better understanding of reality.
