Back when it was released me and a mate wore out New Boots & Panties and never skipped a track. As for lyrics and musicality though, his greatest song has to be What a Waste :-

I've spent most of my life listening to Danny Baker who knew him well. Dury was, by all accounts, quite a nasty piece of work.
