Genuine question. Is this usual for T20/top level T20 or not? Big scores without a single slog, all with pwoppa cricket shots and good timing and fast hands. As I say, I never really watch it cos it's not cricket if, on a quick pitch, the opening bowler doesn't have 4 slips and a gully.
There was nothing usual about that innings. There's nothing usual about Brook, he is a phenomenal cricketer.

I did thino the bowling was poor at times. They bowled some real muck and he seemed to get in their heads a bit.

It is an unsatisfying form of cricket, but quite entertaining. Different skill sets, and opportunities for players whose weaknesses make them unsuitable for test cricket.
