Likewise. I always wanted one but never managed to speak with an owner who avoided taking a spill on their arses at some point. Too many cars around these days too.

Main issue though is watching my dear Mum struggle to get in and out because it's so low. Just a spontaneous buy with not much thought.

Need a second car as a daily. Not looking to spend a fortune. I have found a DS9 E-Tense only 2 years old and 25k miles on the clock. Proper luxurious but because it's a DS and they are not cool it's only ?16k! They are normally 45k new. Crazy depreciation but I don't really care. Viewing it on the weekend.

Any other suggestions of what I should look at? 18k budget.
Wife has just got a 20 plate BMW X1, it's so nice to drive, beautiful auto gear box (so much nicer than my A-class).

Does your Merc have those toggles by the steering wheel for gears? My girlfriend has a Merc and I absolutely despise those toggles. No gear stick.

Wife has a GLA with that system. Absolute ball ache. You can easily engage it by mistaking it for the wipers, ( on the right in other cars )leaving you floundering around in neutral.
You then have to touch the break before choosing reverse or forwards.

The break thing is a massive pain!
