I have just devianted. I voted a number for a player on the Arseblog player ratings

I don't care about the opposition, and I'll ignore it's his first start.

He scored a very good goal. Gorgeous pass for the first. Pretty much an assist for the third - I think it was going in without Gabby's touch, but semi-assist, pre-assist, whatever.

3 in 45 mins. HTF is that not a 9? Sorry. That's why I felt compelled to deviant.

PS, I know it's crap opposition, and it's a sample size of less than one {0.5 of a match to be precise} but Vik looked a different player with Kai. How much having Easy as a 2nd 10 mattered I dunno. Would it work as much with Zubi-Dec-Kai? Was it a one off?

But for the 45 mins with Kai, Vik looked like the player we hoped we'd signed.

And I include the putting it over from 3 yards in that. **** happens. On the stretch. Right place, right time, just bad luck.

Always loved Kai. Reminds me of Ozil in that Spitting Image "A fairly modest German" way. Both have/had almost Bergy levels of talent on occasion but both look unhappy and unappreciated.

But back to the point. Am I wrong? 3 goal creations in 45 mins only an 8? So glad he's back. Please don't break him, MA.

But I like the idea of more Kai generally, and more Vik and Kai together.

If we had needed a 7 goal win last night we would have got it. In the circumstances, I wouldn't read too much into the result.

And the score of 8...I would guess it was based on him only playing 45 minutes.
