We will see. I don't want to think about what hanging on to 1 goal leads is going to be like in the last 6 or 7 games of the season
The first title is the hardest to win, they say

Well you cant win the second one until you win the first. So in a way that is even harder....

22 years..... our longest run without a title since we first won it.

Oh, I shan't lecture you on historical "title droughts". But you really ought to look up the list, if you enjoy a good laugh. I don't think 22 years is remarkable even amongst the "big clubs"

There are only really three big clubs. Certainly in terms of historical titles. And I know the other have longer droughts than this.

But it is our longest. And it is long.

Also *******s, to some extent. Players and managers don't really give a **** about that.

Fair enough. It is instructive though, to note that they (Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea) all emerged eventually from their slumber and went on to great things.

We're not finished yet. In fact, Mikel is just getting started. There's hope

The year i was born we were at the start of an 18 year run without winning it. We then won 5 in 15 years with a variety of cups. That would do

Certainly would. They're working on it. No guarantees though.

    No excuses either

Meh, Bradley told him to roll back onto the pitch, no wonder he thought he was faking it.

And I do hope he isnt seriously injured. But... if he is up and playing next week I do hope the club mention it..... in a subtle 'good to see he is still alive' kind of way.

Perhaps we?re looking for that affirmation that we *are the best team in the league. I don?t think we?ll get that because we have a weak link upfront and a weakness at left back caused by repeated flakey injuries to Calafiori & Hincapie.
I still think we have enough to win the league but it?s possibly going to be a bumpy ride, where we rely on others dropping points rather than simply crushing all before us.
This is exactly why I have no confidence in us winning anything - I remember what a title winning side is like:

We don't have a player as good as Henry, or a player as good as Vieira, or a player as good as Bergkamp, or a player as good as Pires.

Remember once we were struggling at Home against Liverpool in a game that was important in the title race? An individual stepped up, took the game by the scruff of the neck, and won it by sheer force of will. We don't possess such a player now.
