So the next round of injuries should be due to start then. I assume it will be the midfield this time....
Perhaps it'll be the medical staff. They could do with some time off

    Mid to late Jan ?
We?ll be ten points off of City by then of course.
Our medical department will be demanding a holiday in Dubai, at this rate

That's probably where we need new signings. We probably don't have cover for them.

Hmm. Didn't Wenger also have perpetual, bordering on the ridiculous, injury issues.

I suspect the new training ground has been anathematised, by Watford Football Club probably. Or Nicolas Anelka.

We suffered a lot under Wenger but I always assumed that was at least partly because we had a squad full of crocks- Diaby, Rosicky, Wilshere, Van Persie, Walcott. These guys could get injured getting out of bed.

His earlier sides did ok on the injury front.

Oh, that was because his early teams were peopled by men hewed from the trenches of English football, mostly by George Graham; tough, honest, stolid, stalwart, enjoyed a pint.

Rather than the fancy Dans, Frenchmen and cheap Africans of his later days..

The big French lads did ok. Vieira, Petit, Henry, Anelka.

The later sides were full of what you refer to as 'fanny dancers'.
