Am I seeing a familiar pattern emerging or tilting at windmills? ..

    Against top 4 opponents

    Liverpool - 1-0 defeat.
Man city - held to draw at home.
    Aston Villa - defeat.
Chelsea - held by 10 men.

We're as overrated as we always were - just have a bigger squad of overpriced, permanently injured journeymen.

    Arteta out!

I don't think fhe first two games have anything to do witg the recent two.

Against Liverpool and city we lacked ambition and creativity. We were ****. That has changed.

These two recent games are about us losing the heart of our defence and being a little unbalanced.

Either way, there is always an excuse

We've actually done rather well against the better sides in recent times.

Of course, we DO have a squad of overpriced, permanently injured journeymen. But then, so do most teams.
We do not wish or aim to be Real Madrid; we merely hope to get lucky once in a while and win a league title, same as everybody else.

We've earned more points, scored more goals and conceded fewer than after the same fixtures last term

    It's on

True. I suppose the context we need to apply to those stats is that we were ****ing useless last season.

Odegaard looks like his old self again. That's the good news. Oh, and it seems Trossard was taken off as a precaution

The bad news is... well, pretty much everything else.

Bad day. Best to move on and forget it

I'd hoped you'd be too polite to mention that
