If at the start of the week you'd been offered comprehensive wins over Spurs and Munich and a draw away to Chelsea you would have bitten someone's hand off.
Add in the absence of both CBs, who have been a huge part of our success this year, and overall a very good week even if it did include a missed opportunity at the end of it.
Hinchappie and Mosquera will get better as they play and train together more. Let's hope on Saliba. Do we even have an ETA on Gabriel?
Oh, and we're 5 points clear with the GD, be happy![]()
Pity about the games he misses - (a) Leeds, (a) Bournemouth & (h) Everton. Bournemouth being the only tough one.
He should get an even longer ban for faking that injury
He was an utter **** yesterday, charging around like a madman. It should have been addressed before that awful challenge, and I blame Taylor for that.
I'd accept that it is a decent result given that we were missing our two centre backs. My concern is that we are going to end up saying that too often. We cannot afford to keep losing players all the time. And if we are going to keep losing them, we are going to have to start expecting wins without them.
That was a big opportunity yesterday and we didn't take it. As with Anfield.
