"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

They called Eze and Olise "heimt?ckischen Zwillinge", which I felt was rather harsh even though I don't really know what it means and meine Frau proved unable to clarify it.

Germans, see. Who really knows what they're on about.

Especially Bavarians, R. I remember travelling down from Heidelberg to spend a few days outside of M?nchen with a few colleagues. They had a local on stage, holding court in some G?sthaus or other, dispensing anecdotes to an appreciative audience of moustache twirlers?
Not a farkin word.. Was that even German, I asked myself.

When we signed Easy, I said he was one of the few non-AFC players I'd noticed and liked cos everyone I'd seen him play us, he'd done well. And someone here asked about their other black no.10 with funky hair, and you all decided we'd got the poorer one cos Bayern had bought the young one and so he must be much better.

One assist and one pre-assist from Easy last night. And that control and pass to MnM was Bergkampesque. If he'd managed to take the return with his instep instead of the inside of his toe, he'd have buried it and we'd have been talking about that goal for years.

Easy's deffo better than the other won who sounds like a Damned song. Gutted we let both of them go as kids, but the Easy coming back home story is something that will be part of club legend.

Vik had clicked before his injury and from us going meh, through the jury being out we were all suddenly going he's just what we need. Noni looked great at the start of the season and while his shots had won corners we'd scored from, he hadn't scored or assisted. Now, Ganpati willing, he can crack on, hopefully starting with the Chavs this weekend. And Easy's NLD hat-trick has set him on fire. We all believe.

Have we ever signed three forwards like this in a summer before? Especially when none of them would have been nailed on starters at the start of the season if everybody was fit.
