The Scousers and City losing is a touch. But we really did play the Scousers at the wrong time. Or at least, we were wrong to play so defensively and let a series of minor mistakes lead to giving away a FK which was unstoppable.

And so late that while we dominated pressing for an equaliser we didn't have enough time left to score one.

Unlike at St James today. I thought the Ref was looking to play out until City equalised.
Bad form for Guardiola at the final whistle. Remonstrating with the man in black after gifting him an unfathomable ten minutes.

Every week that goes by, with more Liverpool performances like this, that performance at Anfield looks more and more like a big missed opportunity.

Of course, it is done now. But I hope the lesson was learned.

City losing is great. But it we don't win tomorrow (and I fear we wont) then it is another missed opportunity.

And looking across the rest of the season, the injury situation needs to change. It is getting beyond a joke......

It's the only thing I worry about MA about. We had that season we lost Partey at the end and came 5th. Then Big Willy and came 2nd. Then came very close. Then last season, everyone was injured. So we buy a huge squad and yet will still have MnM up top, sweet FA on the bench and our 3rd choice LCH tomorrow.

I'm starting to worry this isn't coincidence. Do MA's tactics work them so hard meaning lots of injuries which means the players left are over-played meaning more injuries?

It will be a mixture. Jesus is hugely injury prone so he isn't a surprise. But Martinelli and Odegaard aren't, nor is Ben White. Odegaard has been injured 3 times this season while hardly playing and White has been out for most part of a year or so.

The amount of muscular injuries last season was not a good sign but it seems to be knees this season.

Hopefully a fair amount of it is bad luck. But his lack of rotation is a factor. If we ever manage to get down to just 2 or 3 injuries maybe we will see him rotate a bit more.

I’d be happy with a draw tomorrow. I hate losing to that lot.

If any of you mad *******s still thinks we have a chance of winning the league you need to give your heads a wobble.

We do have a chance. A great chance.

I think what you really mean is that we are stupid if we think we won't **** it up.

    And you might be right

Yes, we're clearly favourites for the title now.

So obviously we won't win it
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

England were favourites to win the test at lunch....

I think we can forget about Liverpool for now. It's all down to City.
