Yep - they are basically Liverpool fans without the charm. Or in fact Liverpool fans

It is very interesting watching Liverpool fans react to their success. It clearly isn't enough for them. They feel they haven't been given enough respect and seem determined to make everyone grovel at their feet. And I keep seeing their fans excusing their treatment of Trent with some vague, unspecified allegations to some historical grievance they have against Real Madrid.

I have no doubt that a section of our fanbase would be unbearable if we won the league. But then we don't parade around the footballing world claiming to have the best fans, or to have a dignity, respect and deeply ingrained football knowledge that apparently eludes everyone from every other city in the world.
