I agree, and I was always very happy that we didn't have one. But at least YNWA was adopted by the fans (as far as I know). That is at least genuine. This isn't.

Given the size of it's LGBT community it always surprises me what an utter sh1thole Brighton is.

I wasn't suggesting he was gay (not that I'd be bothered if he was..his wife and kids might) but Brighton has long been a welcoming town to LGB community.
