I didn't think he was any worse than usual. He is about as objective as Ian Wright

I love the attempts by all to convince us that only a few of their supporters booed Trent. As if the footage is not freely available. Sad ****ers.

I loved what Arteta said afterwards but was slightly disturbed by the manner in which he said it. He looks a bit frazzled

He was distraught we pulled it back, the glee on his face at half-time when he thought they'd batter us and he could go in two footed at fulltime on Mikel.

The 6 red cards, they're trying to say he was blaming PGMOL (which he'd have a fair case) but I think it was more that he's cross that we keep getting into that situation.

What did he say, p? "Next season we're going to try playing some open, attractive football, so that even if we fail to win a trophy, at least it will be worth watching."?

Well, he said pretty much what I did

That the first half was a ****ing disgrace and totally unacceptable, and coming out and rescuing it in the second half is not good enough.

But he said it in a manner that made you glad he wasn't holding any sharp objects.

He didn't mention the football being worth watching next season

Was quite funny. Liverpool being Liverpool, winning the league is not enough. They need to rub it in everyone's face and wanted to humiliate us in front of the world. And for 45 minutes it worked.

And then we put them on their arses un the second half and their 'best fans in the world' made utter ****s of themselves by booing their own player.

I think they are slightly irked by being described as real madrid's feeder club

I'm at Anfield next month. I must be sure to try not to say anything along those lines

And you are right about the red cards. He wasn't complaining, he was angry that it keeps happening and saying we have to improve ot. He even said this one was totally of our own making.

Klopp started it, you know. This 'gegenpressing' nonsense was the start of everyone playing with such complex tactics in such rigid formations that the game has become dull and miserable.

Remember United with Giggs flying up one wing and Kanchelskis up the other? Remember Overmars skinning the full back and releasing Anelka at speed? Great days. Exciting days!

Two seasons ago we were playing great. And for the second half of last season, mostly.

We need to get back to that.

It would help if we hadn't lost half the starting XI to long term injuries. I see we have another 2 broken hamstrings (Rice & Trossard)
